Job description
Source.ag is on a mission to produce more fresh fruits and vegetables for more people, through A.I.-powered greenhouses. As a Data Analyst Intern at Source, you will collaborate with Plant Scientists, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers to uncover actionable insights from greenhouse and plant data, enabling growers to optimise yield, costs, and resource usage.
Your role will involve analysing and visualising data, supporting decision-making, and helping develop scalable solutions to improve how data is consumed across teams.
Your project could include one or multiple of the following topics:
Creating interactive dashboards around product usage and performance: Develop SQL and Python based dashboards to visualise how our products are being used and where it performs well and not. This will help our Customer Success Managers to actively help our customers get the best results out of our products and our Product teams to develop new features. You will learn how to leverage data for actionable business insights.
Build pipelines that monitor our production models: Develop Python based pipelines that monitor our cutting edge AI models so that Data Scientists and Software Engineers can easily detect when action is required on our model performance. You will learn how to leverage data for actionable technical and business insights.
Support stakeholder communication around model performance: Join our Lead Data Scientist and help in transparently communicating results from the projects above on a strategic and operational level. You will learn strategic and operational storytelling.
Job requirements
You are
A bachelor’s or master’s student in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Econometrics or a related field.
Experienced with SQL and Python (including data visualisation libraries).
Detail-oriented and analytical, with a passion for uncovering insights from complex datasets.
Available for at least 3 days a week for a minimum duration of 3 months.
