Position: North American Market Sales Manager

We're looking for a dynamic and commercially savvy individual with extensive experience and a robust network in the North American horticultural market. As the North American Market Sales Manager, you'll be instrumental in expanding our presence, identifying new business opportunities, turning them into customers (closing deals) and nurturing customer relationships within the region.


What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll leverage your expertise and network to:

Business Growth:

  • Prospecting: Identifying and qualifying potential.

  • Discovery: Asking the right questions to understand customer needs and pain points.

  • Presentation and Demonstration: Presenting our products or services in a compelling and persuasive manner.

  • Negotiation: Reaching mutually beneficial agreements with customers.

  • Closing: Sealing the deal and finalising the sales.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, like amongst others with our Customer Success team, to maximise customer satisfaction and revenues and our Product team to ensure the best market fit.

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including growers, distributors, and industry partners, to drive long-term success.

Job requirements

You Have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of sales/account management experience in the horticultural sector, with a proven track record of commercial success in the North American market.
  • An established network of contacts within the North American horticultural industry, including growers, distributors, and industry associations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiations and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Adaptability and willingness to pivot sales strategies in response to market changes.
